College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
Transcript Evaluation Requests
If you have taken a CLEP exam and would like TECH to evaluate your scores, please provide the TECH University Testing with an official copy of your test results. UT will evaluate your scores to determine if credit is to be awarded and will forward a letter to you indicating the results of the evaluation. If you do not have an official copy of your test results, you may request CLEP to forward a transcript of your results to TECH. To request a transcript (a report of your CLEP scores sent to one recipient), use the Transcript Request Form enclosed with your score report. If you do not have a Transcript Request Form or if you took an exam before July 1980, send CLEP the following information:
Name (you must indicate the original name if it has changed since your test date)
Date of birth
Social security number(s)
Name(s) of examination(s) taken
Where you tested
Where you want the transcript sent
There is a $15 fee for each transcript you request. Pre-1980 transcript requests must come with two separate checks - one for $10 and one for $5. If your transcript is not located, $10 will be refunded and $5 will be retained as a search fee. Pre-1980 transcript requests must also indicate the month and year of testing. CLEP transcripts are not available for scores that are more than 20 years old. You may contact CLEP concerning a transcript at the following address:
